Desire To Live

God is sovereign. Satan is not. When something happens to you such as losing your job in a recession,  being diagnosed with cancer, losing a child in a fire, or catching the swine flu, do not assume that Satan is behind all these happenings. He is not sovereign. He does not know all, he is not everywhere, he is not all powerful. He is but a created creature. Stop blaming Satan for all the things happening to you, and start thanking God for the grace he has given you. Thank Him for being in control of everything and doing all things out of his perfect goodness. Satan is not nearly as powerful as some claim him to be. Rely on the sovereign God of mercy, who works together everything for your good. Everything! Including swine flu, layoffs, and cancer.
